Opt - Out and Leak Records

There's someone on the Network noting down names, occupations, physical descriptions, and powers from any threads or posts that talk about them publicly. This information is being passed on to the mafia periodically in small doses, which will start Wednesday April 30th. Once all of that gets underway this post will be a place to publicly keep track of who's been talked about and what's been said.

If you would like your character's info to not be leaked, please comment here and I'll note it down! There are some characteristics that will make this leak automatically note a character in the 'Do not leak' file anyway, such as:

• If the character is visibly a kid
• If the character talks about school like they're attending as a student and not as a teacher/some-other-related-adult
• If they sound like for whatever reason they're not someone who could take care of themself as much as any other adult could

That said, if there's any information you would like to see leaked, please also comment!

I'm still working out how exactly I'm going to do this, so until I get a feel for how people want to play this out I'm probably going to be sending messages to the muns of characters getting snitched on before I do so, so that there's no surprises or anything. <3

(For the record: yes, the leak is Cesar. I'm referring to him all through this post in vagueness and passive terms because shhh it's a secret.)

 

Weekly Breakdown of specifics:

May 1: There's a man called Mordin Solus that works as a doctor. He says he can make medicine that accelerates healing beyond what current pharmaceuticals are capable of. Someone called 'L' owns a new coffee shop in Locke. Has shown signs of powers related to investigation, and he sounds like a young man. Misato Katsuragi. A young woman, has echoed back the existence of a penguin. 

May 7: There's a new man called Richard Stroude. Cesar doesn't know what his powers will be, and neither does the man. 
There is a man by the first name 'Shou' who is extremely wealthy. Cesar doesn't know his last name. 

May 14: There is a man called Anthony, possibly homeless, and knows Richard Stroude. Was a swordsman in a past life. Cesar will give Shou's last name and mention that he's having huge difficulty obtaining personal information because people are cautious. 

Wednesday May 21st: Alexander Mercure (name, occupation as a magician in Las Vegas) and Benjamin Ratchet (name, occupation as a professor) 

Wednesday May 28th: Alexander York (has had significant memories of past self), and Bill (old, was able to fight in his past life) 

Wednesday June 4: Xander (first name), Fred Vadenberg (Name, and general location within the city. Fred actually posted his address somewhere, but Cesar won't relay it as he found it.) 

Wednesday June 11: Kara (first name, has powers that let her manipulate green energy fields), Arthur Curry (claims to be former king of atlantis) 

Wednesday June 18: Arlene (first name, sex and general age), Rachel Roth (name, occupation as a writer, age 26)

Just gonna give you the lowdown on all mine in regards to this!

Phillip is very, very obviously a kid. All the time.

Neku is less obviously a school aged person, but he's also not super visible. If you think Cesar would have found his name, then go ahead and out him to the mafia!

Pierce is new, and while he's mentioned his name, homework and school were mentioned throughout the threads.

Melissa is the trickier case. She gave out her name and video very soon after coming onto the network, however she was also talking about that fact that she was a cop. I think she's been on the network longer than Cesar (maybe???) so not sure he would have seen that. Since then, she's stuck to text and has only used her first name. Also, cop. Not sure if he wants to touch that.

Basically this is a 'I don't know which way I feel about this but what would be IC for him?' and we'll see how it goes. XD

Caesar is staying away from cops! However, if he hasn't seen her say that she's a cop/hasn't seen her really talk about herself, then he might not know she is one. On the other hand, if she's kept to herself and has been stingy with info, then that might keep her off the radar in of itself. Shall I put her on the 'go ahead if you see something but otherwise leave alone' box?

Nick has been careful not to give out his full name and does his best to stay anonymous, so I'd like to opt out with him.

Varric hasn't given out his name, as far as I can remember, but if it comes up I'm open to having it leaked!

Benjamin has dropped his full name and occupation all over the place like a dork (Benjamin Ratchet, engineering professor and doctor at LCU hospital) and I'm 100% okay with this biting him in the butt, so I'd like to opt in for him!

Ahahahahahaha~ This might help with an idea or two re: echoes of a trickier nature.

Anyways, Shou is not careful until very recently concerning his name or his money. He never saw any reason to hide it and so it would be real easy to find out about him enough to hand stuff over to the mafia..... HOWEVER, the mafia probably already knows about him via his growing involvement and influence among Tokyo Town's own mob group (the yakuza). Also as a part of it, he is gaining a reputation as an upright guy - someone who does what they think is best for people and is not easily bought or a liar. He says he will do something, he will do. He says he won't he won't and no amount of money will make him budge (helps that he has a lot of his own money).

I'm not sure how the American mafia would deal with him, but he is growing entrenched in the Japanese mafia and there is a treaty of sorts between the two groups.

Whether or not the mafia already know about him may not make that much a difference over whether or not Caesar leaks him! After all, Caesar doesn't have the slightest clue who knows what.

Rosa Curry here hasn't been at all cautious with what she's sharing over the network. She's free with her name (She's related to Arthur Curry, the fish guy!), she's chatty about the things that she has echoed thus far, and while she's college-aged, she doesn't seem to be attending classes right now.

Jackson Isaka (fusionjack) is much more cagey about what he shares. It's rare that he goes on video and rare that he gives out more of a name than "Jack". There's not too much chat about echoes other than grumbling about having turned into something annoying. If he does accidentally let something slip, feel free to add that to the leak list!

Naomi/lightsoflife has given her name and whatnot, and is pretty liberal about giving information about her work/abilities. However, she has mentioned her daughter a couple times and I don't know how Cesar feels about namedropping parents. I'm cool either way.

Evan/notspecial is sixteen but he is pretty shameless, although I don't think he's given out his last name. Yet.

Yeah, I think Cesar will probably avoid leaking her if he knows there's a kid in the picture. Same with Evan, except he'll avoid him due to being under aged.

I should have gotten to this much earlier, my apologies. I'm fine with any information Xander has said to be leaked, but there's a few posts that contradict that he can't look after himself. (Asking for a therapist / psychiatrist, neglected getting help during the Wise Snake event)

As for details: he has stated his name (or could be taken as an alias), listed near by street intersections to his apartment, two video posts demonstration his shadow mimicry and a glance at what he looks like.

Ahh, I've been rather slow to check my fellows in, but just in case you might ever like any of them for anything!

Anthony (scramasax) regularly shows his face and mentions his full name on the network. He doesn't speak about school, and with as jacked-up as his appearance is his age isn't necessarily easily-apparent, but he does have a high-ish voice. He's also blind, though he tries to avoid bringing it up, and also recently made a post specifically mentioning he hallucinates or mentally "loses time" under stress.

Bill (beforeweproceed) doesn't actively hand out his name on the network, but he isn't exactly paranoid, either, and frequently communicates by voice and introduces himself as "Bill". He has a grandkid on the network - who he has mentioned and spoken to on the network as his grandkid. On the other hand, he has also mentioned he can fight.

Steve (smalltimer) comes off as an absolute kid in all mediums. He has not revealed much about himself yet on-network, but the more he does, the more painfully absolute-kid he's likely to prove he is.

Bill might be leaked in a future round, depending on what specific posts Cesar sees! Out of curiosity, what is Bill's grandkid's name?

Cesar will likely refrain from sending off Steve and Anthony's info, though, on the basis that they're either young or invalid in ways that could make his actions just plain cruel.

He might leak something like 'There exists a numbered that can make monsters appear by shooting himself in the head', but I kind of doubt that that kind of thing would be very useful to them.

Ariel Has been very vocal about herself on the net work though she has not spoken about where she lives. She has mentioned more than once her father's photography studio where she currently works and is always looking for numbered people to become models for her dad.

She also does not bother hiding herself all that much since her only physical alteration is her pointed ears. (Most people think she is a cosplayer of some kind). She has mentioned most of her powers more than once as well.

So I am completely cool with info about her being fed to the mafia.

This was a spur of the moment thing that occurred, so backdating is perfectly doable! I'm down for pretty much anything.

Blaine I'd rather not have leaked, because it would put her out of work. But she's also been careful, just because of that, and I don't think there is any personal information on her on the network, aside from a post where she asked for help in a rescue mission at the beginning of the year.

I'll assume that Floweregg falls into the "children" category anyway.

Siiri and Thorir are both adults and look like it, but both have dependents who are children/a sentient puppy, which is pretty obvious when going through their things on the network. Idk if that makes a difference.

I'm adding Blaine to the opt-out list! If she hasn't said anything about herself that isn't at least somewhat recent, I don't think Cesar would actually go digging for it, so you're good.

While John hasn't really told Cesar anything directly, he's still been pretty open about who he is out and about on the network. So if Cesar would have been snooping he might have caught onto a few things so. Without further ado.

John works at the clinic. He's an alien, and has mentioned Time Lord in relation to himself and that it's something he probably is, even if he doesn't know if it's a title or a species or what the fuck ever. He has two hearts, and has changed appearance by saving himself from dying. Not that he knows how often he can actually do that. Also he has a time machine that looks like a police box. Not that he can use it.
