Cesar doesn't just stop once he's out of immediate reach, but bodily hauls him off the bed, dragging him as far as the handcuff's chain will allow. How is it that L and his copy are the only people he's manhandled like this in years? Blood pounds in his ears, and if he weren't gripping him so tightly he'd be shaking.*
